Returns & Refunds Policy

Returns


With regards to the nature of made to order goods and custom goods, understandably we cannot offer a refund, as each item is unique and not general enough to resell again.

On the off chance that there has been an error or mistake on our part in terms of the description of the goods and to that which you have received, or you have received the goods and they do not match that which you have ordered, then you are entitled to a full refund or exchange for the correct product. If you wish to exchange it as a result of error on our part, we will replace the order with the correct one, however we will require the return of the incorrect order to be delivered to our address, but at our cost.


Please note that our policy lasts 30 days for returns of this nature. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase or delivery date, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Please check your product upon delivery, that it in good order and fits as per the made to order requirements, and if applicable fits your watch/buckle/wrist/waist/etc.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

In addition, items will not qualify for a refund if the original order has:
- obvious signs of use,
- been damaged, cut, modified, excessively bent or creased or if the surface of the leather has been altered to produce a distressed texture, in the case where there was not this texture before.
- been worn, in the case of a strap or belt, for an unreasonable period of time resulting in the leather shaping to the body or wrist and buckle has impressed itself into the leather upper.
- dis-coloration or markings to the lining or any part of the leather, due to the it getting wet from perspiration from the skin, or as a result from swimming, showering, bathing, or any other liquids penetrating the leather causing markings.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds (if applicable)


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 15-21 working days. All other acceptable reasons for an eligible refund will be issued with 15-21 working days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)


If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Shipping


In the event of a return, we will arrange with you for a convenient date for our courier to collect the product from you at the original delivery address (or alternative address if supplied). If you do wish to send the product back to us instead, our delivery address is : BELT AND BAND (PTY) LTD, 44 Pinotage Crescent, Wellington, WC, 7654, South Africa

Depending on our lead times and production schedule, it may take time for your exchanged product to be made and shipped again, however we will prioritise your order where ever possible to get it to you as soon as we can.

If you are shipping an item to us, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Furthermore, our customers have the right to return Goods in terms of the Consumer Protection Act (SOUTH AFRICA).
