Lombard Bespoke Leather is a family run business based in Wellington, Cape Town, South Africa. Jacques Lombard, the founder and artisan, is passionate about fine leatherwork, design and art.
Since small beginnings in 2016, Lombard Bespoke has grown to serve clients from all over the world. They are specialists in manufacturing of luxury custom leather watch straps and bespoke solutions for watch strap connoisseurs, jewellers and horologists.
Where are we today?
The business experienced a significant increase in inquiries for fine leatherwork from esteemed establishments and influential figures both locally and internationally. This surge in clientele and heightened service expectations, after a decade of success prompted a strategic rebranding from Belt & Band to Lombard Bespoke, reinforcing confidence in our luxury custom leather watch straps.
The new name effectively captures the brand's current position and the strong personal connections Jacques Lombard has developed with his clients since 2016.

I'm Jacques Lombard, the of Lombard Bespoke. Passionate about fine leatherwork, I am committed to my craft, ensuring meticulous attention to detail, quality, and excellence in every piece I create. Raised in the vibrant city of Cape Town, I was surrounded by a family of talented artists and renowned musicians, which fueled my creativity.
My amazing parents encouraged me to explore my artistic side from a young age through painting, drawing, sculpture, and pottery, laying a foundation that cultivated my confidence and honed my skills.
