Introducing our English-Tan Bespoke Leather Backpack, a highlight of our lifestyle travel luggage collection.
This distinctive backpack was crafted locally by us, emphasizing originality, comfort, ergonomics, and durability. Each backpack can be custom-ordered as a commissioned piece, allowing us to collaborate with clients to perfectly suit their needs. Every backpack is handcrafted using premium full-grain vegetable-tanned bovine leather for the exterior and suede for the lining. Various colours available for you to select from for your custom backpack.
The entire production process takes over 130 hours to manufacture over a two to three month period, using both age-old traditional leatherwork techniques, such as hand-stitching (saddles stitching) and edge burnishing, as well as modern techniques with using sewing machines and premium adhesives. We have a local team of experienced artisans, craftsmen (and crafts-women) that make the backpacks from start to finish at our studios in Cape Town, South Africa.

Imported Solid brass buckles, rivets, snap hooks and RIRI zippers used by other high-end designer labels.
Upper - Full grain vegetable tanned bovine
Lining - Full grain Suede
Hand-stitched (Saddle Stitched, base-ball Stitched and "X-Stitched) and machine stitched with premium heavy duty polyester threads in M12 and M20 gauges, for maximum structural support decorative accents.
Lap top sleeve lining - hand-felted Merino wool (hand-dyed colours to compliment leather upper colours)
Shoulder Strap - Comfortable foam padded inserts enrobed in leather.
Interior pockets - for bank cards, phone and key chain holder for easy access
Luggage feet - hand-stitched protective leather feet corners to prolong the lifespan of the bag.
