This project caught us off guard to the extent that we nearly overlooked it. We received an email from David Collins Studio, an international interior design firm in London, inquiring if Jacques could provide leather cladding for a uniquely custom cabinet. Responding required a leap of faith, as this project differed from any previous commissions we had undertaken, but it also offered the potential for us to break into the interior design industry.

Jacques has always had a passion for “craft;” items lovingly handmade with exceptional quality. His keen eye for detail and precision, combined with his determination and upbringing in an artistic family, have all contributed to his development of the skills necessary for this level of service.

It was an incredible honor to collaborate with the David Collins team and to have the chance to meet and work alongside other remarkable craftsmen, particularly the cabinet makers, Osterwald and Sons.
This project served as a catalyst for us to explore a different industry where creativity knows no bounds and achieving the best outcome is paramount. We eagerly anticipate more challenges like this in the future.
